| Below
are pictures from yesterday's construction - in reverse order....
I am amazed at how quickly this roof has gone on.

The architectural shingle adds a lot of visual eye dimension to the roof.

Shingle is not quite as dark as I thought or would like - but it does
look nice!
Corners are set first.
Moving right along....nail guns make the job faster...
Still a lot of shingles left to put down....
Loading the roof.
Each of these bundles weighs between 50-65 pounds. It takes 3 bundles
to make a square and the roof has 43 squares coverage.
The laying of felt on the roof and Ice and Water Shield in the valley's
has begun.
Moving right on along...each member of this large crew has their own job...from
the person nailing in drip edge, to the guys running roofing felt, to
the guy cleaning as the debris falls.....like clockwork.....
Putting on the drip edge at the edge of the felt.
The whole yard around the house was tarped to aid in clean up...
The tear off is moving along quickly...
Roof decking is in remarkably good shape...

Just getting started....
Destruction moving along pretty quickly - easier to tear up than put down.
Debris falling from the sky....back deck covered in tar ps....

Multi
colored sky this morning ....looking across from back deck. A good clear
and dry morning - great morning to have roof put on!
