Christmas Time In Dixie - December 2009

On Saturday, December 5 2009, it snow'ed here for the first time in several years....while we didn't get much in my neighborhood, during my lunch hour, I took a ride up to some of our "High Country" (don't laugh you take what you can get) up toward Fouche Gap which is a ridgeline in behind our home on Berry College Property - where I could see some white. Below are some of the pictures from what I found in my limited time to walk around. We haven't seen any of this white stuff in so long....made you feel like a kid again to walk around and see it......

Grandson Austin came to visit Sunday and while we did not get the opporturnity for the hike....the day was filled with all kinds of fun....He has finally mastered the crawl and is a speedster once he gets going....He is also has chosen wisely regarding his college football team preferences and is instructing his Granna in the proper way to show that we are number #1 (or were)....
