Policy for use of Terrageezer's Ramblins pictures This policy statement taken from my good friend, Paul Winters and his website www.highcountryaerie.net . He has been both friend and guide to me in putting this website together. The policy statement is somewhat edited and used with his permission..... In the spirit of the way the web USED to be, any pictures I put on my personal website are free for the taking for personal use. If the pictures are to be used commercially, I'd at least like to KNOW about them (I've discovered some of my pictures on commercial sites before...surprise, surprise!). And I'd appreciate a credit and perhaps a link to this site. E-mail me (link on home page) if you need clarification. If
you want a larger version of a picture, e-mail me and I'll e-mail you
the original or at least a larger version. Once you have the larger version,
either from the website or via e-mail, just upload it to a commercial
printing service and you'll get your print in four to seven days. I've
used perfectposters.com with very good luck. I've heard that ofoto.com
is also good. You can save virtually any picture on the web to your hard drive by right clicking on it and choosing something like "save photo as...". We don't charge for pictures because photography is our hobby, not our profession. We hope that you will enjoy the pictures as much as we do and did when we were taking them. Pictures on the web are generally not measured in inches, but pixels ("pic"ture "el"ements). A 1600 x 1200 pixel image (2.1 megapixels) should enlarge to 8 x 10 very well. The images I blow up to poster size (24 x 36 inches) are about 2000 x 3000 pixels (6 megapixels). |
